When used in conjunction with WAC II™, Tack Coat promotes adhesion for Conklin's Membrane Coating Roofing System. It quickly and effectively prepares the membrane for application of the highly reflective, energy-saving finish coat.

What is Tack Coat? |

Tack Coat is a product that promotes adhesion between cleaned EPDM or Modified Bitumen roofing and Conklin's Rapid Roof III® acrylic elastomeric roof coating. The coverage rate for Conklin Tack Coat for an EPDM System is approximately 250-300 square feet per gallon. The primer must be top coated within 24 hours, preferably in the same work day. The material should not be thinned, but can be remixed with a drill and paddle for 2-3 minutes if it has gelled or thickened up. |
